The sun has just set behind the mountains as Copper Basins unit train works up the grade at Ray Junction,AZ on its way to the mine.
The Unit Train is descending the hill from the smelter to the yard and will then head west to the mine at Ray.
CBRY 505 hustles the unit train towards Ray Mine as it catches the sun literally 1 minute before sinking below the mountains.
The unit train is seen at the bottom of Hayden Spur where it crosses Rte 177 and into the yard. The train will keep rolling for Ray Mine arriving shortly after sunset.
Westbound Unit Train turns the corner at Ray Junction and heads into the Mine during the golden hour.
